Continues about 100 years after the events of Blood. The antagonist does an extremely short recap on it in the intro, stating Caleb destroyed their god Chernobog hundred years prior. Since Blood 1 was set in 1920s, this sets Blood 2 in 2020s.

For those on 64 bit operating systems and having problems with the installer: copying the game folder off the CD to wherever you wanted to install the game may be enough, same may work for the patches.
