Personal review
One of the greatest vector based arcade games ever made. This first person shooter has amazing graphics and gameplay for its time. What better theme to be based on than Star Wars?

Description
Star Wars is a first-person shooter based around the final scenes of the original Star Wars film. It first appeared for arcade coin-operated machines and was subsequently converted to other gaming platforms.
You take on the role of Luke Skywalker, aiming to destroy the Death Star. In the first phase you have to pass swarms of TIE Fighters, including dogfighting the one piloted by Darth Vader himself. In the second phase the station's surface is protected by laser towers, third involves attacking its weakest spot - the unprotected exhaust port - with proton torpedos. Your X-Wing starts with six shields, but more can be awarded for good performance. Complete the game and it loops back around at ever-increasing difficulty.

How-to text:
Flight instructions to Red Five:
1- Your X-Wing is equipped with an invisible deflector shield that will protect you for 6 collisions.
2- Deflector strength is lost when a fireball impacts your shield or when you strike a laser tower or trench catwalk.
3- Aim your lasers with cursor to explode Empire Tie Fighters, laser tower tops and trench turrets.
4- Shoot fireballs before they impact your shield.
5- The Rebel Force is depending on you to stop the Empire by blowing up the Death Star.
