Personal review

Takara's second Transformers game for the Famicom and an improvement compared to the utterly bad Transformers: Convoy no Nazo. This game is based on the Japanese-only anime series "Transformers: The Headmasters". Each of the levels is divided into a vehicle part where you drive or fly from left to right and a robot part which has you fly around in rooms. It's important to upgrade your autobot and find other autobot friends which you can freely choose to control afterwards. While still being an below average game, once fully upgraded the game becomes more playable. You can freely select each level you want to start in. Only the last level - which only consists of a boss fight - is locked until you have rescued all your fellow autobots.
