Silent Scope 2: Dark Silhouette, sequel to the hit arcade game and 2000's pinpoint targeting title Silent Scope, asks players to resume the role of an antiterrorist officer and engage in intense battles featuring two-player modes, movielike cinematics, and enhanced graphics. The suspense begins in the U.K., where a terrorist group has planned a deadly attack on an unsuspecting city. Taking on the role of an antiterrorist operative employed by a government-run peacekeeping agency, the player is tasked with tracking down and apprehending the terrorist group. Missions take place in a myriad of European environments, from London's River Thames to snowy Swiss mountain ranges. Featuring a unique targeting system and new enhancements such as the Thermal Vision Scope and the X-Ray Scope, players can skillfully zoom in and take out enemy targets. It is crucial for the player to complete each mission quickly and effectively, as it is timed and scored for accuracy.
