Exciting Soccer: Konami Cup

Exciting Soccer is a typical top-down view soccer game. The heart of the game is the "Konami Cup"-mode. You can choose between one of six teams. The teams have different stats like running speed or kicking. Well, while the game is playable and controls are OK for an old-school soccer game the game also features some of the worst AI opponents I have ever encountered in a soccer game. Winning is very easy (maybe dependent on the team you choose). Even worse, the computer opponent seems to be unable to do anything reasonable. It is not very obvious at first, but when I just stood still with the ball in possession, the computer sometimes failed to even attack me correctly for minutes. So while I think the game is decent enough when playing against a human opponent, the single player mode is quite a fail.
