Personal review

A solid build of units and buildings, some interesting weather effects, and a political card system that makes "Conquest Mode" way more strategic that it seems at first glance... Sadly some features lead up to a frustrating experience:

-Reinforcements zoning system: You must click the unit, then the base, and then the select one of eight drop zones in the base (this last step is a total waste of time, making very difficult to both defend from the enemy/conquer territory and create reinforcements)

-Enemy turns time (Conquest Mode): If you expect almost-automatic resolution of rival AI turns go play Civilization, because this game takes several seconds/minutes for that.

-Terrain interaction and routes: From time to time units get stuck in mountain corners, making chases, escapes and counterattacks kind of chimeraic. Also, you cannot pinpoint routes and AI sometimes takes a longer and stranger routes than it should.

-No save option in planetary battle (Conquest mode).

If you want a similar game but well made, try Star Wars: Empire at War (with Forces of Corruption expansion)
Or any Command & Conquer.
