Description

Like the familiar battleship with a key difference and some variation. Misses send out horizontal and vertical waves and may provide feedback. No return waves means the column and the row of the miss are completely devoid of ships. A single return wave means either the column or the row of the miss contains a ship. A double return wave means there are two ships among the column and/or the row of the miss. The feedback from unknown squares gives the game a black box element beyond the more familiar battleship game style. The human player can see the waves of the computer's misses. By default, each layer has only two ships and each ship uses a single square. Grid size and number of ships is configurable and the possible number of feedback waves obviously increases beyond a maximum of two if more than two ships are played.
