The original US version from Microprose is a little bit different from the version released in Europe a bit later by U.S. Gold. The U.S. Gold version has visible cockpit graphics and part of the menu structure are different. The difference in this case didn't feel big enough to warrant two separate entries, because the gameplay and graphics engine as well as the missions stayed exactly the same.
