Personal review

Thexder was a very successful action game on early Japanes homecomputers. As a result it was ported to the Famicom. You are controlling a robotic mecha which can transform into a flying ship. The goal of each level is to find the exit. Easier said than done, because the game can confuse with its labyrinthine design. Gameplay is interesting, but the controls are not optimal. Shooting as a mecha is semi-automatic, you press the fire button and the aiming is done automatically. A very challenging game.
