Official description

Pirates! is a dramatic simulation of 17th century life on the Spanish Main and you are cast in the leading role as Privateer Captain. Leap into an era of turbulence and change a time when fabulous fortunes can be won and lost.

Extensive graphics enable you to navigate across the Caribbean, slipping in and out of ports as opportunities arise. Decide when to raid treasure-laden galleons and when to put your crew ashore to plunder towns. Learn to fence with a rapier, longsword and cutlass. And, at all costs, maintain morale on ship to avoid a mutiny.

To succeed in this adventure you must choose the most lucrative expeditions, forge the most fruitful alliances and negotiate the greatest profits. If you've got the skill and strength of character to do so, you'll achieve your goals - wealth, power, prestige, even romance.

Pirates! A challenging combination of history, adventure and intrigue.

- Simulation of 17th century life
- Non-stop action and strategic decision-making
