Description

A game created by two companies in collaboration, ABM and Gecas. It is emulated in MAME.
Some programmers from the Spanish Gaelco claim that it is a hack of World Rally, in fact the graphics, sounds and general mechanism of the two games are very similar. The Italian programmers counter that Blomby Car is only inspired by World Rally, but all the game's code was written by them.
As regards the graphics, Francesco Zaia, son of one of the technicians, informs that it was obtained by photographing a Peugeot model supplied by himself.
The name entry screen, however, is a scan from an Italian newspaper, and actually refers to a cycling race (Paris-Roubaix, victory for Claudio Chiappucci).
