Official description
SUPER MARIO ALL STARS is a collection of all Super Mario jump and run games. The games have been overhauled with fresh graphics and sound while the game play and level design are the same. As an added bonus, it's now possible to save progress in any game (not just Mario 3) and the developers added the "Lost Levels" game, which was never released before.

Description
This cartridge contains the 4 Super Mario NES games.
- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. - The Lost Levels (aka Super Mario Bros. 2 Japan)
- Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka Super Mario Bros. USA)
- Super Mario Bros. 3
The graphics and sounds are much better than the original NES versions and you can save after the end of each world (except for "The Lost Levels" where you can save after each level because of its difficulty). The gameplay and level design has not changed for most of the games but Lost Levels has been made easier reach the A to D worlds (there are 13 worlds total).

An excellent compilation of Mario's adventures. If you missed out on these games the first time or your NES isn't going to last much longer, pick this up. If you're a purist, the updated graphics may annoy you, but it's still the same great Mario gameplay! Relive the first meeting with Bowser, the wacky journey through Subcon, and the battles with the bratty Koopa Kids. Be warned: You may find yourself with a lot less free time!
