Personal review

Playable volleyball game, but it lacks features which could bring you back for more than one or two play sessions. Besides the typical differences like the title screen, the US version displays an "X" on the playfield where the ball is supposed to land. That is an improvement in playability, while in the Japanese version its rather hard to guess where you have to place your players when a ball is in the air. Also noteworthy is a special two-player mode where two humans can play together against the computer - besides the obligatory human vs. human mode. Graphics are unspectacular, but they get the job done. The music during the match becomes annoying soon.

Official description

Welcome to Malibu: Volleyball capital of the world. This is where the best come to play--and show off their tans. If you want in, sign up. But keep your eyes on the ball...there'll be plenty of time for bikini-watching after the match!
