Donkey Kong

An expansion and reinvention of the Nintendo classic! Donkey Kong for the Game Boy starts the player in familiar territory as Mario travels through the four original arcade stages. Once those are over, it's a whole new game! Aside from the classic arcade action of the original, Mario must now do a little puzzle-solving in his quest to save Pauline. In each level, he must get the key at one part of the stage into the locked door at another in order to follow his primate foe, but this is a lot harder than it sounds; Mario has to build platforms, unlock gates, dodge enemies, and more to get from point A to point B. Luckily, this time around, he has a few new tricks, including a backflip to avoid danger, a handstand to block falling barrels and flip him into a high jump, and the ability to toss objects around. The classic hammer is back to help him clear his way, too! Collect Pauline's hat, purse, and parasol to reach a bonus stage and earn some more lives. A huge number of stages will keep players busy for quite some time, but don't worry; there's a save feature now too! If you're a Game Boy owner and you like platforming and/or puzzle games, you have no excuse not to own this.

Challenged by many perils and unending puzzles Mario must reach his arch rival. As he makes his way Mario will need to gather disappearing keys to unlock doors of hidden rooms. Donkey devised evil tricks to confuse and trap him. Our heroic plumber has his hands full this time!
