Hyper Lode Runner

I can forgive the simple graphics and music/sfx. The major fun in Lode Runner lied always in solving the fifty tricky platform mazes. And while they left the basic concept untouched in this Gameboy version I didn't like it as much as the classic homecomputer versions. The main reason for this is the small screen and the fact that the level is scrolling. You can't see the whole level on your screen, which makes planning in advance very difficult. The controls are also not the best ones. I sometimes felt I died because the controls didn't do what I wanted them to do. All in all this makes one extremely difficult and braintaxing game.

Earthdate: 2264. The renegade Red Lord of Darkness has overthrown the United World government with his army of cyborg fanatics.
