Description

Hippodrome is a fantasy-based fighter where you, as the generic gladiator, must defeat all comers for the control of a kingdom. Monsters such as a gargoyle, a lizardman, and a dragon will test your swordplay in one-on-one combat. Between rounds, you can spend the gold you've earned on potions or new weapons. There's lots of hacking and slashing to be had, but nothing much more complex than that.

Technical specs

software: Emulated on MAME,
display: raster

Editor note

Runs on hardware very similar to Robocop.
Fighting Fantasy is the Japanese version, and it seem to be easier.
