Assume the role of Alphonse, a knight of Galicia, sent on a mission to investigate the intentions of the suspect governing body of the Holy Lodis Empire and solve the mystery of Ovis. Along the way, you will experience many trials and tribulations, but you must survive the unrelenting battles and cultivate your characters' abilities to reveal your true destiny. Tactics Ogre is a medieval/fantasy Strategy RPG where the player controls up to 8 characters in order to survive the 25 stages. As characters gain experience and are awarded emblems for their recognition in battle, they can change into different classes. With the Game Link cable, 2 players can exchange items/characters or go on a head-to-head battle.
