Con unos controles sencillos y la posibilidad de manejar algunas de las naves emblemáticas de la primera trilogía, es un juego bastante entretenido, aunque peca de un manejo un tanto torpe y sobretodo enemigos que parece que sólo hay dos clases extremas: o no saben ni girar cuando estás en su cola o son tan esquivos que prácticamente la única forma de alcanzarlos es estando apunto de chocar con ellos.
