Gremlins Atari1986single playerCX-5257. Rarity 4 scarce+. North America NTSC. 1 player or 2 players alternating.
Herd the Mogwai into cages to keep them out of water and from eating. Sounds simple, but the Mogwai really like fiddling with your dad's malfunctioning inventions that tend to fling food or water. Water from a variety of household sources, including leaks and ice thrown around by the Mogwai, will cause the Mogwai to multiply fast enough to embarrass rabbits. Food is everywhere too and the Mogwai toss it around also. When they eat, they turn into gremlins. Gremlins cannot be herded and must be killed. Attract both by turning on the TV. Temporarily stun both using a camera with disposable flash cubes.
Gremlins was actually ready for release in 1984 but delayed as part of Jack Tramiel's takeover of Atari.

Karous Milestone (MileStone)2007single playerKarous (or Crows, in English) is Milestone Inc's newest arcade shoot em up offering. It plays and looks very similar to Milestone's last shooter, Radilgy. Both games are cel-shaded and feature both a regular shot and a sword weapon used to clear away oncoming enemy fire.
While Radilgy was a more colorful, "happier" toned game, Karous makes heavy used of red, black, and whitish-grey color tones to give off a more gothic feeling atmosphere. The game is, after all, about the offspring of an unholy union between an angel and a human, so this fits the general story Karous attempts to exude.

Sunday Funday The Ride Fish Fall  Wisdom Tree1995single playerThis is a 3-in-1 multicart containing [game=#8004]Menace Beach[/game] reworked to a Christian theme as "Sunday Funday" and two unique games. There is a karaoke game called "The Ride" featuring the song of the same name by 4Him. It also has a puzzle game called "Fish Fall". This was the last game actually professionally published in the USA for the NES. However, it was unlicensed. While Sunday Funday bears a resemblance to Menace beach, The Ride and Fish Fall were likely original publishings. Fish Fall was developed at Color Dreams under the name Free Fall. Color Dreams was a fully separate company by the time of this game's release and currently going through bankruptcy; but had transfered the rights to all their games to Wisdom Tree (which would later be bought by BridgeStone Multimedia Group). However, there is apparently one known prototype of a a fully finished Free Fall.

This is the absolute last game for the NES to be professionally published in any region. [game=#8431]Wario's Woods (1994)[/game] would be the last licensed USA release. And [game=#156930]Adventure Island IV (1994)[/game] the last official Famicom release in Japan[b][spoiler=▲;▼][/spoiler][/b]

Released in the USA in Dec of 1994, making it the last official NES game to be published in North America. However, the unlicensed but professionally published [game=#8270]Sunday Funday[/game] came in the USA in 1995.
