Anomaly 2 11 bit studios2013action/reflex strategy Science Fiction In the years following the invasion of Earth in 2018, the planet is overrun by alien machines. Humankind is on the verge of extinction. Banded together in huge convoys, they search the frozen tundra for food and supplies. Since the war, the roles have been reversed: now our species seems to be the Anomaly on a machine-controlled planet. Your convoy, Commander, is called Yukon.

Anomaly 2 is a real-time strategy game that takes the tower offense concept from Anomaly Warzone Earth to a new level. Maintaining the core concepts of the original – tactical planning and the on-field Commander to support troops in combat – Anomaly 2 introduces a number of important new features:

* Morph your troops into war mechs to discover the new face of strategy: each unit has a different mech form with various abilities to help you overcome specific combat situations.
* Engage in a multiplayer experience unique to Anomaly 2: tower defense vs. tower offense. Play as the towers and destroy the humans or lead the humans to annihilate the alien towers.
* Fight across a post-apocalyptic world in a new single-player campaign that offers a more intense strategy experience than the acclaimed original.
* Carve your own path to victory and create your ultimate battle squad. With over million tactical combinations to build your squad, your options in combat are nearly endless.
* Dive into a beautifully rendered world, thanks to the team’s new and improved visual engine:
* Experience alternative endings dependent upon your approach to enemy machines in the campaign.

7 de 10***Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth is a new science-fiction-themed entry into the award-winning Civilization series. Set in the future, global events have destabilized the world leading to a collapse of modern society, a new world order and an uncertain future for humanity. As the human race struggles to recover, the re-developed nations focus their resources on deep space travel to chart a new beginning for mankind.

As part of an expedition sent to find a home beyond Earth, you will write the next chapter for humanity as you lead your people into a new frontier and create a new civilization in space. Explore and colonize an alien planet, research new technologies, amass mighty armies, build incredible Wonders and shape the face of your new world.

8 de 10***Spec Ops: The Line is a new original title from 2K Games that features provocative and gripping Third-Person modern military Shooter gameplay designed to challenge players' morality by putting them in the middle of unspeakable situations where unimaginable choices affecting human life must be made. Features include, a gripping, storyline reminiscent of Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness but set in a ruined Dubai, tactical squad-based Delta Force gameplay throughout a horizontally and vertically oriented world, devastating sandstorms which can be used in combat, a variety of multiplayer modes and maps, and deep support featuring two factions.

It’s been 6 months since Dubai was wiped off the map by a cataclysmic sandstorm. Thousands of lives were lost, including those of American soldiers sent to evacuate the city. Today, the city lies buried under sand, the world’s most opulent ruin. Now, a mysterious radio signal is picked-up from Dubai, and a Delta Recon Team is sent to infiltrate the city. Their mission is simple: Locate survivors and radio for Evac. What they find is a city in the grip of war. To save Dubai, they’ll have to find the man at the heart of its madness—Col. John Konrad.

Gameplay
Spec Ops: The Line is an action-packed Third-Person Shooter that delivers heart pounding physically close combat through a squad-based play mechanic. Players lead a team of three characters, Captain Martin Walker, Lieutenant Adams and Sergeant Lugo. Each character has his own distinct personality and specialized skills, and the mature story they each play a role in explores the dark side of war in a realistic way, in which there are no good outcomes, only hard choices. As missions are completed more advanced weapons and equipment are made available. In addition, the desert environment of Dubai is brought into the game in a unique way with stunning visuals, and dynamic sandstorms that actively effect level designs, and which can be used to help and hinder progress. The vertical interiors of Dubai high rise buildings also provide tactical advantages and risks that can used be by players. Multiplayer campaigns bring new modes and unusual situations and environments to expand the single player experience.

Key Features
* A new portrayal of the military shooter experience with twisting narrative uncertainties.
* Action packed 3rd Person Shooter gameplay provides an up-close and personal view into the brutality and emotion within the combat.
* Command an intelligent and powerful squad of Delta-Force soldiers in a dangerous and unpredictable combat zone.
* Cross "The Line" in a mature story that explores the dark side of war, where there are no bright outcomes, only bad or worse choices.
* Unique Dubai setting strikes the imagination and transports players to a larger-than-life playground for vertical gameplay and stunning visuals.
* Sand-filled Dubai provides new gameplay experiences including sand avalanches, and powerful, disorienting sandstorm combat.
* Customisable, Class-Based, Blazing Multiplayer

7 de 10***The year is 1962 and the Cold War has the nation gripped by fear. A top-secret government unit called The Bureau begins investigating a series of mysterious attacks by an enemy more powerful than communism. As agent Carter, call the shots, pull the trigger and lead your squad in a gripping third-person tactical shooter set within a covert war to protect humanity from an otherworldly enemy.***The plot has a tragic logical fallacy about the Bureau performing a complete erasing of the truth of what happened, except the invasion was global and they had no control over what happened in other countries and the amount of secrecy they held over the event (likely poor/none in several), yet it's said no evidence of the invasion was left to the public.

Papers, Please 39092014action/reflex simulation adventure Papers, Please places you in the role of a border patrol officer earning piecework pay to approve legitimate travelers through a border checkpoint the dystopian country of Arstozka. You were assigned this job via lottery. You collect your pay from the approved travelers. Approve any illegitimate travelers and you could be fined and fired. Deny any legitimate travelers and you could be fined and fired. Fail to approve and deny fast enough and you will not earn enough money to provide housing, heating, medicine, and/or food for your family. Arstozka keeps everybody on their toes by making minor changes (with major consequences) to the regulations (who can pass or not) moment to moment. Minor changes to the regulations often require reading pages of regulations to find them, which of course takes time. Also, it does not matter if the travelers are legit or not, what matters is if their paperwork meets current regulations. For Instance, 90 year old Valentina Moles can tape a photo of her 8 year old nephew to a passport. If the regulations say don't check photos, and the rest of her passport checks out, then you'd better pass her. Linuxlabelminimizesubject

Even telling how to identify your allies positively (and thus who isn't your ally) by insignia, uniform appearance, etc. would've been extremely useful. He is in love with a Christian (Benedictine) nun (of which order?) who definitely values her religion and wants to keep her vows (which was not a given in the 12th century). Though the game ending greatly depends on the protagonist's conduct, this mechanic is has nothing to do with any real-world faith or religion, it is more of an constructed system of virtue unique to the game.***
