Fatal Fury: King of Fighters  SNK1991Released in 1991 and one of the longest-running series in the fighting-game genre, this title introduced players to Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi. Select one of the three and visit many locations as your chosen fighter engages in numerous street fights around the fictional city of South Town. If you're good enough, you'll eventually take on Billy Kane and then his boss, the notorious crime lord Geese Howard. Use each fighter's own finishing maneuver and battle in two different planes on the screen, one in the foreground and the other farther away in the background. The game also features a two-player mode that is well known for its unique setup, which allows fighters to both fight and help each other. Do you have what it takes to win the King of Fighters tournament?***The first Neo-Geo fighting game, which was unfairly seen as an inferior clone to Street Fighter II since they were both released at roughly the same time. Choose one of three characters (Terry, Andy, and Joe) and attempt to clean up the streets of Southtown! Fatal Fury features a front and back plane to the stages to simulate 3D movement, and you can play simultaneously with a friend to beat on the computer. The traditional Neo-Geo boss difficulty was introduced in this game with Geese Howard. Oddly enough, the special attack commands for the American version were different from the Japanese release for some reason.
The Japanese title means "Legend of the Hungry Wolves: Battle of Destiny".

Fatal Fury 2  SNK1992Released in 1992 by SNK, FATAL FURY 2 is the second installment in the renowned fighting-game series. In addition to Terry, Andy and Joe, who appeared in the original game, another five distinctive fighters gather from around the world to compete for the championship title. Also newly added are stage-specific hazards and the ability to perform desperation attacks when a character's strength is low. These particularly deadly techniques create the chance for a come-from-behind victory achieved with a single strike. Moreover, the innovative two-line battle, which proved popular in the previous version, also has been radically enhanced. Pressing the weak-attack and strong-attack buttons simultaneously enables players to move their fighters to another line themselves, or to launch an attack that pushes opponents back to another line. This game mechanic, unique to this title in the series, allows the player to take advantage of the depth of the screen and create even more exciting bouts. Can you prove yourself the king of fighters again? labelimagesubject

Garou: Mark of the Wolves  SNK1999Once there were men who staked everything on battle... Fighting with faith in his fists, one such man earned the name of "The Mightiest" and won peace for his city. Ten years have passed. The world's fighters again ready themselves for "King of Fighters" the tournament to determine history's strongest slugger -- and a new menace... ~ THE MARK OF WOLVES ~ Keeping a legend alive demands testing one's beliefs...***I always wanted to know what happened to streetfighters after their reputations fall... and now I know. Thanks, Terry Bogard and Kim Kaphwan, for showing me that streetfighters become older, fatter streetfighters, and those with kids of their own have two successors instead of one.
