Then spiders proceeded to encase the building in webs (no doubt anticipating the deaths of all the living creatures inside). Once they finished the outside, they moved inside. What makes this game interesting is the fantastic quality of ambience it manages to create, with excellent sound and graphics creating a truly scary arcade game. Only Uninvited and Silent Hill match Splatterhouse for creepiness. It also has some choice of paths to take, which adds replayability.
