| Karous | Milestone (MileStone) | 2007 | Karous (or Crows, in English) is Milestone Inc's newest arcade shoot em up offering. It plays and looks very similar to Milestone's last shooter, Radilgy. Both games are cel-shaded and feature both a regular shot and a sword weapon used to clear away oncoming enemy fire. While Radilgy was a more colorful, "happier" toned game, Karous makes heavy used of red, black, and whitish-grey color tones to give off a more gothic feeling atmosphere. The game is, after all, about the offspring of an unholy union between an angel and a human, so this fits the general story Karous attempts to exude. | labelimagesubject |
