Lock picking - 1979 to 2022
Player can or must open locks without damaging them or using the appropriate key for whatever reason.

Stealth (Sneaking) - 1981 to 2024
Stealth may be required or simply possible. Avoid being seen, heard or smelt. Take care where you leave finger & foot prints, dust & even your shadow.

Clandestine (Covert operation;Black operation;Secret operation) - 1982 to 2020
Involves activities that are kept in secret, concealed from the public eye and others, either because of their illegal or improper nature.

Espionage (Spying) - 1982 to 2018
Gathering of information without knowledge, consent, or being noticed by the target. In some cases, manipulation of information by the same means.

Sabotage - 1982 to 2014

Hacking - 1983 to 2020
Players can or are required to hack or otherwise tamper with computers and other electrical devices. Usually accomplished by some puzzle minigame.

Stealing - 1983 to 2018
Player can or must steal items or wealth from someone.

Disguising - 1984 to 2015
Player can or is required to disguise themselves.

Pickpocketing - 1994 to 2018
Player can or must steal from the pockets, belt or other worn apparel something of value without being noticed.

Eavesdropping - 1998 to 2018
Player can or must secretly listen to the conversations of others, usually gaining some inexplicably useful info in the process.

Secret conflict (Secret war) - 2004 to 2017
Depicts a conflict which all involved try to keep a secret for one reason or another.
