Includes long bladed melee weapons.

Knives (Daggers) - 1980 to 2024
Includes short bladed melee weapons.

Bludgeons (Hammers;Clubs;Maces;Flails) - 1981 to 2022
Includes bludgeoning melee weapons.

Gunblades (Pistol swords;Gun swords)[shooting swords] - 1981 to 2021
Weapons that are primarily designed for melee combat but have functionality of a gun or are otherwise capable of being used as projectile weapons (such as through magic). Commonly appear as swords, but can be anything.

Axes - 1982 to 2023
Includes battle axes or similar melee weapons.

Pole weapons(Polearms)[Halberds;Spears] - 1983 to 2022
Includes melee weapons with a long pole as a central feature.

A Okinawan weapon consisting 2 sticks connected by a very short chain or cord. Reliably practical only against unarmed opponents & a few other weapons

Claws (Tiger claws) - 1993 to 2016
Includes a claw-like melee weapons, similar to brass knuckles with several claw-like blades extending out.

Katar (Kattari;Katara;Bundi dagger;Suwaiya;Punching sword) - 1997 to 2017
Includes any katar-like blade weapons, a sword or dagger with wrist support designed for punching.
