Uses mixed 2D and 3D rendering, usually with some of the objects or the game world seen as polygon meshes and others (like characters) as regular sprites or pre-rendered scenes.

Note, 2.5D is ambiguous by itself as it can mean several things:
* Mixing of 2D and 3D graphics techniques (flag raster and any of the 3D display techniques instead)
* 3D game with gameplay restricted to 2D (see: pseudo-3D for that)

The former no longer needs a tag as it can be represented otherwise in UVL, thus this tag is no longer needed.
