This is NOT for autofire where holding down the attack button causes the attacks to be repeated/continued.

Real-time strategy games are notable for having autoattack by default, for anything else it unusual (some RPGs, such as Baldur's Gate, are an exception because they merge gameplay ideas from strategy games without being properly strategy games).
