Player can or must build makeshift barricades. Moving furniture, hammering planks on, welding things shut, and otherwise attempting to make entrance as difficult as possible.

This is primarily when something is reinforced to make access via it harder, such as nailing down doors, windows, etc. Something that's already there and improving its usefulness in inhibiting enemy movement.
