Any games that were designed for competitive play, likely with the intention of holding tournaments or getting the game into proper cross-game esports events. Usually designed so average game lasts about 15 minutes.

Most obvious are games that have their own tournaments held by the developer/publisher. Games adopted by esports events might not necessarily been meant for competitive play originally.
