The Cryptids tag should not apply to fantasy creatures unless it it obviously being depicted as a Cryptid. Obvious examples are Unicorns and Dragons. Cases where these are depicted as Cryptids are extremely rare.
Cryptids also include animals that are/were extinct but cryptozoologists believe to be still alive (extant) somewhere.
