Asymmetric dual wielding

Video game concept

Player can wield simultaneously two unrelated weapons or tools - such as a sword and a gun - both of which are controlled separately.

The first video game about Asymmetric dual wielding was released on November 8, 1995.

2K Games, Bethesda Softworks and Wolfire Games has published most of these games

If you can only dual-wield related weapons, then use the normal dual wielding tag, even in cases of a club and axe being dual-wielded (both are single-handed melee weapons).

This is not when you have to switch hands to use the tool in the other hand, that's closer to quick weapon slots or other quick weapon switching in most games.
