The first video game about Multi-floor elevators was released in 1991.

Virgin Interactive and Playdead has published most of these games

This is not applicable if it accesses the floors outside of user control (plot driven elevator), or the floor access is dependant on plot state (only 2 at each time even if they're different from time to time).

These are extremely rare in first and third person games for some reason, not so much in side-scrollers though they often have automatic (moves constantly without anyone using them) or nudge elevators (moves one floor at a time, never directly to the destination).

This tag exists mostly because of the curious norm that elevators only have 2 possible destinations in majority of games they appear in.

NOT when the elevators are fully automated.
