This can be blatant victory by the Evil, or more subtle, such as their plans coming to fruition despite them getting offed.

If the game has multiple endings, only the canonical one should be counted (if there is one clear canonical one without looking at sequels).

Usage note: tagging priority should be on games where the player does not control the "evil" side (e.g. malevolent protagonist). Games without an ending should not count (e.g. Missile Command), these are usually score oriented where the player's vie for the top spot in hiscore lists instead of "beating" the game.
