NOT for language patches that add, fix or change the game language.

Including OS patches that allow the games to be played on systems not originally intended.

These may be "official" in the sense that the original publisher/developer has given the people permission to work on them, possibly giving them additional resources (such as game sources) to accomplish it as well.

Depending on the game (how they work and such), these can be delivered as hacks (such as patches that modify the original game files), mods, override files, process memory manipulators (same as how trainers are usually done), and others.
