Usually support for this is advertized with 3dfx logo instead of actual Glide logo, mostly because the former is/was more recognizable to those with compatible GPUs (even more so to those who didn't have such).
Glide API started to lose its appeal around 1998-2001 when the more generic DirectX (versions 5-6) and OpenGL (versions 1.1 - 1.3) started reaching similar performance (and especially the non-3dfx GPUs that relied on them).
