Certain anti-virus software, such as Avast, Kaspersky, and NOD32 use virtualization for transparently sandboxing potentially dangerous apps, so this may go unnoticed. Disabling hardware assisted virtualization from options, troubleshooting, or such, or adding the games to exception lists can be used as workarounds.
