Instead of a crosshair or similar artificial aiming tool, player has access to using the sights integrated into the weapons or other tools.


The first video game about Iron sights was released in 2005.

Ubisoft, Tripwire Interactive and Electronic Arts has published most of these games

This also includes any other sighting devices that work in similar manner, such as reflex sights. However, scopes that change the view completely, use separate display mode, etc. do not count.

Generally this is only applicable to first-person games.
