Free Software
Culture theme
Licenses approved by the Free Software Foundation.
Alternate name: Libre Software
Free Software is slightly different from from Open Source Software in the Free Software Foundation defines rights of the users of the software and approves licenses that (in theory) do not hinder users' rights. Whereas the the Open Source Initiative defines rights of the developers of the software and approves licenses that support the developers' rights. Many software licenses are approved by both organisations.
