Example 1:
Game is keyboard, joystick, or mouse controlled for 1 player. But in a two player game, player one must only use the mouse and player two must use a joystick. This tag applies because player one lost the keyboard option.

Example 2:
An Apple II game (Apple II having only 1 game port that supports only a single analog joystick), uses the joystick only for player two and player one never has an option to play using the joystick, even in single player mode. This tag applies because player one never has the joystick option despite the software having been designed for a joystick controller option.

Example 3:
A DOS game is keyboard controlled for single player without a joystick option. But both players must use joysticks in a multiplayer game. Because the keyboard option was removed.

Anti-Example:
Game is keyboard controlled for one player. Player two can only use the joystick. This tag does not apply because nothing changes for player one.
