Not sure why any developers would say their game is for Linux Lite it except that they themselves are transitioning to GNU/Linux.

Linux Lite is meant to transition Windows users to GNU/Linux. It is only updated every 5 years to reduce changes for users. It uses proprietary components. It uses a custom kernel, hardware info software, user guide, package manager (dpkg based), desktop themes, clean & repair*, and update manager.

*Windows users very often want to know how to do system maintenance on Linux; such as defragmenting and error checking their drive. Defragmenting is unnecessary because GNU/Linux does not go out of its way to waste time and fragmenting files to begin with. GNU/Linux has many designs in place to prevent errors on drives, even accounting for power failures and users abruptly switching off. Thus, error checking is infrequent, it is typically only done during boot, and often goes unnoticed. This sometimes leaves transitioning users anxious that their GNU/Linux system is falling apart behind the scenes (like Windows) so some distributions include busywork software that assures them everything is fine.
