Living Together

The word "cohabitation" typically refers to a non-short-term arrangement of an unmarried couple sharing a living space, who would be expected to think of each other as sexual partners under the right circumstances (such as the circumstances of living together). Generally, it is assumed by observers that such couples are sexually involved, or will become sexually, even if they are not. Notably, many cohabitants themselves use the terms "cohabitation" or "living together" as euphemisms that include a sexual relationship in their meaning and cohabitation is often chosen for the purpose of pursuing an intimate/sexual relationship.
