Obscured loading
Video game concept
Obscures level, zone, map, etc. loading. Commonly done in locations where player does not see where they came from nor where they're going to, so previous area is unloaded and next area is loaded. For example, during an elevator ride or airlock cycling.

This is halfway solution of actual loadless game where instead of constantly loading and unloading areas in the background, it's limited to few locations but still without actual loading screen.
Usually can be noticed from sudden performance degradation during these scenes, or their unusually long or variable durations (especially between differently equipped computers).
