This is regardless of what causes the magical appearance, so it can be something quite natural, scientific, magic itself, problems with the protagonist's eyes, delusions, etc.

Should not be used for games tagged with magic as it's somewhat given in them, unless the magical appearance of things is pervasive.

Usually manifests in form of glowing things, heavily colored and thick lighting conditions (especially blue), distortion of natural laws, and so forth.
