Map deficient

Video game concept

Either completely lacks maps or the provided maps are mostly unusable, forcing the player to draw one themselves to avoid getting lost. Mainly for games that are not linear and don't tell where to go.

This does not indicate a game is hard, just that you'll likely get quite lost without drawing that map.

This also does not mean the game is completely devoid of maps (though they may be), just that if there are such, they're woefully insufficient for proper navigation.
