A type of visual matching puzzles where you match 3 or more visually similar pieces to progress, often by lining them horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

Usually the minimum connected pieces is three, but more can be required depending on the game and possibly difficulty. Two is never enough. Bonus points are usually awarded for connecting more than what is required.

Although straight lines are most common requirement for the matching to work, any shapes are possible as long as they're "matched" (usually this means touching on any of their sides).
