The player is presented with moral choices which may stray the story or side-story to different directions. A common tool for character building in RPGs.


The first video game about Moral choices was released on March 2001.

2K Games, Bethesda Softworks and OhNoo Studio has published most of these games

* Dualism
* Karma
* Gray choices - relevant if a moral/ethical dilemma is involved
The "best" among these are the ones where there's no real right or wrong, good or bad/evil, or such answers but most games have a rather black & white "alignment" system implemented that encourages similar choices to be present.

Note that morality has nothing to do with legality, so this is not about choices between illegal actions and legal ones, because an illegal action can actually be the moral one.
