No multiplayer saves

Video game concept

Despite including campaign/story, other cooperative multiplayer mode or simply the default modes take significant amount of time, there's no way to save game progress.

The first video game about No multiplayer saves was released on February 20, 2007.

Valve and THQ has published most of these games

* Multiplayer saves
Either these force players to start from scratch each time, they can skip directly to where they left (mission selection), or despite what it looks like, there's no real benefit in saving game progress.

This does not include saving character progress, as in multiplayer RPGs or similar that is saved even if the game progress is not.

Do NOT use with multiplayer-only games.
