Player has to commit to a significant choice, such as character/class or loadout before entering a game where they can discuss the overall plan with the other allied players.


The first video game about Multiplayer: Pre-game commitment was released in 2011.

S2 Games and Blizzard has published most of these games

This does not mean the pre-match warmup period where you've already joined a game but no scoring or similar can be done, which is confusingly sometimes called pre-game.
