ncurses

Software theme

Is a free software foundation version of curses, which is a library for implementing GUI & graphic looking applications using only text display.

100
games
11
platforms

The first video game about ncurses was released in 1979.

Stone Soup Team, Ben Webb and Xconq development team has published most of these games

A specific advantage over the original curses is ncurses' ability to quickly react to a dynamically changing text display size. Another advantage to ncurses is the ability to make one application that will run on any platform with text display, should the author so choose. ncurces is distributed under the Permissive Free Software License but is a Free Software Foundation endorsed application.
