Video game concept

The opponent's health is displayed in similar manner (a bar, number, text, etc.) to the player character's health.

Usually this is in form of health bar, numeric display, or simple text (e.g. "healthy", "slightly injured", "moderately hurt", etc.).

Possibly not very useful in vs fighting games as this is the norm in them. Not useful if limited to boss fights where it's usually known as "boss meter" or similar.
